Summer is almost here! With all the ice and snow behind us, now is a good time to get your vehicle ready for that nice weather.

1. SWITCH YOUR TIRES

If you are driving around with snow tires in the warmer weather they will wear more quickly. Once the temperature is anywhere from 7° or above it’s time to switch to your all-season or summer tires.

2. MAKE SURE YOUR A/C WORKS

Driving around in a car without A/C on a hot day is super uncomfortable, and it can also be dangerous. It’s important to check your A/C and make sure it’s working properly before the summer weather approaches.

3. CHECK YOUR BRAKES

During the winter, your brakes see a great deal of abuse with traffic often much slower than summer traffic. It’s important to take your car to a professional so that they can check your brake pads.

4. WASH OFF THE BAD WEATHER

Salt and grime build up on almost every part of your vehicle over the winter months. Once the weather becomes nicer and the roads more clear, give your car a spring cleaning – on the outside and the inside!

5. MAKE SURE YOUR COOLANT IS COOL

Inspect your coolant level and coolant mix, or get a professional to. You should change your coolant at least once a year for maximum performance.

6. UPDATE YOUR PLAYLIST

Driving is much more fun with music playing – especially in the summer! Don’t forget to update your playlist with your favourite summer jams. Your passengers will appreciate it!.
